The New Puppy

Jay's parents finally got a new puppy. We're so excited, and it's been a lot of fun adding Buster to the family. Even though he's not really mine and Jay's, we sure treat him like he is! We went with Dave and Renee to look for a dog at the local humane society and pound. It was quite a difficult task as Jay and I played mediator. Dave really wanted a small dog, and Renee really wanted a big dog. Well, now you can see who won! (although Renee has fallen completely in love!)

Happy 23rd Birthday!

Ohh! So handsome!

Today is Jay's birthday. He's at the ripe old age of 23 years old! I've had a great day with him. After school and work today, we drove up to Atascadero, ate a picnic lunch at the park, and then had a great time at the little zoo. Afterwards, I gave him a haircut before we went out to dinner with his family at Big Bubba's Bad BBQ. We watched him open presents, and had dessert. I really had a great time spending the afternoon with him, and hope that he enjoyed it as much as I did. Happy birthday sweetheart! I love you!!

Head Cold and Sore Throat

For the last week and a half, this is how I've felt. I can finally say that I feel much better, and I'm sure grateful it is gone! However, now my poor Jay has it. I sympathize. Boo germs, bugs, and bacteria!
